When you get #engaged and people begin asking you when you are getting married, the best response (other than mind your business) is “my fiance and I are enjoying our engagement at the moment, but will let you know the details regarding our wedding date when you receive your "Save the Date” (if they are invited).
Enjoy the engagement process, after all, you’ll only be a fiance for a short period of time! There are 3 things that I advise clients to consider as they embark on their journey to marriage: 1. Budget 2. Venue 3. Pastor Availability Keep it simple and start with the basics, they will be what help carry you through the rest of the decisions that you will have to make.

First things first, a first look is when a couple chooses to see one another before the ceremony.
Our stance on first looks: We don't have one! If you would like to have a first look, by all means go for it! Some of the pros and cons we've heard from our couples are: PROS: 1. Helps with your wedding day timeline 2. Reduces anxiety 3. Allows you and your spouse time to soak in the moment more freely CONS: 1. Could reduce the amount of excitement in seeing one another for the first time 2. Run the risk of being seen by the guests before the ceremony 3. Some people feel like you are cheating At the end of the day, we always advise our couples to do whatever makes them feel the most comfortable. Will you do a first look? This engagement session is worth taking a look at! You won't be disappointed. Click the photo to checkout the link to the published e-session!
